Easter for Anna and Brandon

I did not make many Easter specific cards for others this year.  Mostly I just sent spring themed ones that I had already made.  But I wanted something special for the grandkids.  Anna's card was easy to come up with. I saw something similar on Pinterest.  Brandon's was harder to think of since he is almost a teenager and bunnies and chicks didn't seem appropriate.  I decided to go with eggs and tried to not make it too "cutesy". I will also  make them some sort of a treat container.

Summer Silhouette

Summer Silhouette has always been one of my favorite stamp sets. Here are two very different cards showcasing this set.

Spring Wreath

Here are 2 spring wreaths using different stamp sets.  The first one uses the Circle of Spring and is colored in soft shades of blue using a blender pen. The second  card was made with the Wondrous Wreath set.  I stamped the leaves with two shades of green and added punched flowers.  The flowers and card front are Wisteria Wonder.  The die was used to cut the wreathes.

Going Global

Going Global is a nice set when making masculine cards.  Having the matching DSP and map embossing folder makes it easy to create a variety of cards.

The above was the card I gave Lou for his birthday. For the  card on the right I punched circles in the white card front and added DSP behind.  I'm thinking this might be Dan's birthday card.  card I gave Lou for his birthday.

Six Sided Style

I had so much fun using my new hexagon punch and Six Sided stamp set.  I also have the die and the embossing folder. I used a stencil made from the die and sponged color over some of the spaces.  Then I stamped the lines and some dots from Gorgeous Grunge and then added a die cut butterfly and a few sequins.
Using DSP and the punch made this card an easy one.  I also punched some flowers using the itty bitty flower punch and then added pink pearls in the center of each.
I used Night of Navy for the card base topped with a doily and a banner of DSP. I stamped the hexagons with navy and pool party and then punched them out.  A few punched flowers and pearls finished the card.
These are both just punched DSP.  The flowers are cut from the Botanical Blooms die.

Three cards

I used the Helping me Grow stamp set.  This was stamped in Lost Lagoon on Mint Macaron.  I used  a chalk marker on the flowers.  I might still add a sentiment at the top right.

I made 24 of this card front for a swap I will participate in at a stamping event in Boise next weekend.
I made this as a sample for a class. It is bolder than my usual style.

Spring Flowers from Number of Years

All these cards use the flowers from Number of Years stamp set. The first one matches the DSP and is super simple to make. The 2nd one is a template for a class I might teach. The ladies specifically want mothers day cards.  It is CASED from Dawn O. The 3rd card is CASED from Connie Stewart.  I used the pool party glitter ribbon where she used pink seam binding ribbon.  The So Saffron dots are from the same stamp set.  I used a strip of embossed soft sky, but wished I had used pool party to match the ribbon.  The card is scored at 1.5 to make the front fold and then the edge was torn, but I would probably use a cute border die in a remake of this card.
